ULTRASONIC WASHING IN THE NAIL INDUSTRY

ULTRASONIC WASHING IN THE NAIL INDUSTRY
Manicure is an enjoyable process, but it is also very demanding. During the manicure process, the technician uses various tools, which must always be disinfected and sterilised after use. The health of both the master and the client depends on it. Therefore all responsibility is on the manicurist. One of the most popular ways of cleaning devices is the use of an ultrasonic device for manicure instruments. This is an article about it, so read on and take note.

ULTRASONIC CLEANING - WHAT IS IT?

Ultrasonic cleaning is a special device that is actively used in the nail industry, for the maximum cleaning of tools. It is manufactured to treat objects with ultrasound at high and low frequencies in combination with a cavitation process. It allows you to clean the surface as quickly and safely as possible, unlike similar devices. Application of ultrasonic washing is possible both at the stage of sterilization of instruments and as a part of pre-cleaning and preparation for further treatment. WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE ULTRASONIC CLEANER?

- The ultrasonic tool washer for manicure tools, requires no maintenance. To remove any residual moisture, wipe the bowl with a dry cloth and store the device in a clean, dry place.
- Removing germs. Products such as Alaminol, destroy bacteria and viruses. Some ultrasonic cleaners have a heating function as an extra component to boost the cleaning effect.
- Consumables required are a disinfectant solution or plain water. The disinfection procedure will become more accessible.
- Mechanical cleaning of difficult-to-clean instruments. Sometimes it is extremely difficult to clean an instrument because of bent edges and hard-to-reach places. Ultrasonic bubbles reach the remotest places, burst under pressure and clean.

THE BENEFITS OF AN ULTRASONIC CLEANING

An ultrasonic car wash has a number of advantages which make the job of a manicurist easier. Namely:
- Tools of different materials can be stacked in the sink and they will all be processed well.
- Cleaning time is less time-consuming.
-The ultrasonic bath or ultrasonic cleaner does not dull the tools. There is no corrosion after use and the tools are not deformed.
-The cleaner does not need to wash the tools by hand.
-The tool becomes clean in a short period of time after use.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE USE OF THE ULTRASONIC CLEANER

You have purchased an ultrasonic power washer and you want it to last as long as possible. After all, you don't want to throw your money away. There are a few rules to keep your ultrasonic cleaner happy for a long time to come.

1. Do not operate the ultrasonic cleaner when it is not filled with liquid or when the solution level is insufficient for normal operation. This may cause the appliance to malfunction and cause serious damage to the appliance.

2. Only place the tools in the bathtub in the special strainer container provided. Never place them directly on the bottom! Doing so would cause damage to the device, as the ultrasonic penetration is interrupted. In addition, the cleaning capacity is severely reduced - a gap is imperative between the bathtub and the surface to be cleaned.

3. Load the tool in one or two layers at the most, laying it out so that its cutting parts do not come into contact with other objects.

4. Do not stack accessories in bulk so that larger tools do not create an audible shadow over smaller ones; this will affect the efficiency of disinfecting and cleaning.

5. The temperature of the disinfection and cleaning solution should be at least +18 °C (room temperature) and not higher than +40 °C.

6. Choose the disinfectant and cleaning agent for the ultrasonic bath carefully. Under the influence of ultrasound, any potentially damaging properties of the chemical solution are multiplied and destroy the instrument.

7. The ultrasonic cleaning time should not exceed 3-5 minutes at a frequency of 35 kHz (kilohertz).

8. To improve cleaning, the use of a plastic grate tray is recommended. The objects in it are placed compactly in the area of maximum ultrasonic effect, which facilitates effective cleaning. Such a container allows for easy draining of the solution, rinsing, saving the mixture for further disinfection operations.

9. Change the disinfectant liquid in good time or top up if the level falls.

10. When the washer is not in use, it must not only be in a disconnected state but also physically disconnected from the power supply. Therefore, be sure to unplug the plug from the socket when you have finished using the equipment.

11. Always rinse the instruments under running water after completing the ultrasonic cleaning procedure to remove the contaminated solution from the cavities and surface. If this is not done, it will evaporate in the drying process and the dirt will be back on the instruments.

12. Drying thoroughly after rinsing completes the disinfection and cleaning process in ultrasound.

13. Install the ultrasonic washer in a place where it will not interfere with anyone, will not cling to anything and will be connected to the socket without pulling on the power cord.

14. Locate the bathtub indoors behind a tightly closed door, never in a common room. Despite good protection, it still spreads high-frequency sound vibrations. These can cause irritation and headaches.

THE STAGES OF ULTRASOUND TREATMENT

In order to clean the instruments in the ultrasound machine, a few steps must be completed. The ultrasound will do the rest.
- Rinse the instruments under running water and use a brush to remove the available dirt.
- Prepare the required volume of solution to be poured into the tub, following the recommendations for concentration of detergents and disinfectants.
- Place the instruments on the grate in the container.
- Pour in the prepared solution.
- On the panel, enter the desired operating mode.
- Press the start button for cleaning.
- After the process has stopped, remove the instruments and rinse them under running water.
- Allow to dry.

WHAT TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING A NARROW WASHER

1. The wave range that cleans the tool must be at least 35 kHz.
2. The presence of a timer. It provides the ability to set the desired time, depending on the type of solution and nature of contamination, with automatic shut-off of the instrument at the end of the process. The timer also allows the operator to fully entrust the treatment to the automation system without having to worry about maintenance and control.
3. The inside of the sink should be made of stainless steel, as this material is of higher quality and will last you a long time;
4. When choosing a nail salon sink, the capacity of the machine should be between half a litre and 2.5 litres.
5. Many machines may have rubberised feet which will ensure the stability of the machine.
6. Read reviews from people who have already opted for a particular model.
7. Buy only from trusted brands. For example, the online shop Global Fashion.
